@Perennial herb; stems ascending, to 1m high. Leaves with lamina narrow ovate, 10-19 cm long, 2-3.5 cm

wide, glabrous, apex acuminate, tapering at the base; sheath 2.5-3.5 cm long, undulate around the orifice.

Inflorescence terminal, almost sessile, 3.5-5 cm long. Outer tepals imbricate; inner tepals 4-6 mm long,

white. Anterior fertile stamens 3, posterior staminodes 3, either filaments glabrous.
